Kimble Beauty conditioning masque review

Kimble Beauty's conditioning masque with Brazilian nut and acai berry
and shower cap

As a blogger member of BrandBacker, I am often fortunate enough to review products that I actually need. Recently, I was chosen to review hair products from the famed stylist, Kimberly Kimble. I first learned of Kimble, way back in the day. I think she was Mary J's stylist back then, If I'm not mistaken.

Most recently, I began watching here reality show, L.A. Hair, which is quite funny. I actually think my favorite person on the show is Leah, Kimble's older sister...probably because she shares my position of being an older sister and she's all about the business of business.

Kimble is not only a famed stylist who has done it all from movies to magazine covers, she also has a hair care and beauty line.

As you can see from pics on here, I have natural hair, which means I don't have a relaxer which straightens the hair. My last relaxer was several years ago and my hair has been through ups and downs since. I had a horrible blowout experience that caused tremendous breakage that I'm trying to repair without big chopping my hair again. It is a slow process.

I hate going to salons and prefer doing my own hair, but I will admit, my hair was so much healthier when I went to a natural salon regularly.I work out more frequently these days...and I workout outside. Sweating causes my hair to be more dry than normal, so replenishing moisture is a must!

You  may not be able to tell  in the after workout pics, but my hair is actually comprised of tiny ringlets that get looser at the back of my head. They are densely packed toward the front of my head. The ringlets are more visible when my hair is wet.

I was wondering what this conditioning treatment could actually do for my dry and damaged hair. I have recently returned to using all natural products, but was willing to give this a shot.
The Brazilian nut & acai berry conditioning masque is for dry and damaged hair.

Brazilian Nut & Acai Berry

CONDITIONING MASQUE

Restores Dry and Damaged Hair

Enjoy the natural benefits of Brazilian Nut and Açai Berry with this deluxe treatment that penetrates to the root of hair problems to repair dry damaged hair while keeping the scalp clean and healthy. Heal damaged locks for richer, fuller hair with a hint of Hollywood Shine.
The Brazilian nut & acai berry conditioning masque from Kimble Beauty is supposed to be formulated for what ails my hair...damage and dryness. After washing my hair with  TRESemmé shampoo, (I bought a trial size at Dollar Tree...and I like it) I pulled out my spray bottle and wet my hair a little more. (My hair dries very quickly)

The recommendation is to put the masque on wet hair and to leave on for ten minutes if doing a deep conditioning. Or you can apply heat. I decided to leave the conditioner on overnight. So I saturated my hair and applied the conditioner from tip to root and massaged it in.

Let me tell you about my most favorite part of reviewing this product...THE SHOWER CAP! This shower cap is so great. I love the lips design and it is thick and durable. The cap actually reminds me of the cap on this hairdryer my mama used to have. It seems like it's going to last.

All rinsed out. The masque
definitely added moisture and gave my hair shine.

The Results

My hair definitely felt better after this treatment. It went from dry and crispy to soft and supple. It was seriously shiny afterwards. There wasn't a lot of curl enhancement or anything, but I don't think that's what this product is for anyway. I typically have a lot of shrinkage...as you can see from the pic with my hair stretched out, it is quite a bit longer.

There was no greasy or sticky residue from the conditioner. It did exactly what it said it would, so I was happy. I will definitely use this again. I'm going to look into more of Kimble Beauty's products.
