Mahi Leather Suede Classic Duffle 

My birthday was last Sunday, January 14th. Friends from college and I met up in Atlanta to celebrate. We haven't all been together in years!




I packed up my Mahi Leather Classic Duffle bag, gifted to me from Mahi Leather last year, and hit the road! (Mahi Leather donates 1.50 per sale to FRANK Water, a UK charity that provides clean water to underdeveloped countries.)

Don't know about you, but I am an over-packer! Since I drove in, this bag was not my only bag. I had about three or four additional bags...a girl has to have options!

Had I flown in, I probably would have only had two. My best friend absolutely loved this duffle! I love it too.





We stayed at the Westin Buckhead.

If you ever have to book a hotel, try Hotwire.com. My former coworker suggested that I use it and it worked out great! Trust me, I was nervous due to the blind booking, but because of the location of my stay, all of the hotels were four-star or better. The price was 1/3rd the normal rate!

When you book with Hotwire, you only know the general location of the hotel and the star rating. You have to pay (non-refundable) and then find out which hotel you booked. (YIKES!!)

Now, the thing about the Westin is that they charge you for everything including parking and wi-fi. However, the young lady at the front desk used my Starwood Preferred Guest membership to give me free wi-fi and gifted me access to the Executive Club Lounge for my birthday. The Executive Club Lounge serves breakfast and appetizers as well as snacks for guests every day.

So, what happens when good friends who haven't seen each other in ages get together? We laugh, we talk, we reminisce...and apparently get too loud! Ha! So we were up catching up and cackling all into the wee hours of the morning. There was a knock at our door...it was SECURITY telling us to pipe down! LOL
