Au naturel hair and beauty products

Butters-N.Bars.com is my go to place for natural products. Sharika, the owner, has great products and staples for you to create your own products for your beauty regimen. Quite a while ago, she gave me a promo code for the readers of my lifestyle blog: YBBG (yes...that's the code). When you use the promo code "YBBG", you automatically receive 10% off your order.

The images you see here, are some of the products I have used before. I just placed an order recently after a long hiatus. I seriously got distracted and just bought what was on the shelves. But I'm back to Butters-N-Bars.com and my hair and skin are thankful. My skin has been acting out over the last few years, so I started a beauty regimen. (And I am so not that beauty regimen gal...lol)

I have decided that using more natural hair and beauty products will probably be more beneficial.

When I first went back to my natural hair (removing all of the chemical processing), I used mass marketed products that were very popular. But who can afford $58 all the time for some hair moisturizer? I don't care how baby soft it made my hair, I am not willing to drop that much money on something as silly as hair moisturizer. I know...I know...people spend thousands of dollars on their hair...I'm not one of those people.

When I discovered Butters-N-Bars through one of the natural hair gurus, I sampled some of the products and liked them. I also loved the prices. All of these products together were cheaper than the one jar of moisturizer from the commercial product line.

I am not receiving any compensation from this post, (I get the same 10% discount that I'm sharing with you), but I actually like to share budget conscious deals. I won't tell you which products to try, but if you want to try any, peruse the website. Sharika typically sends out discounts via email that  are up to 20% off at times...sometimes more.

I have thick hair...and I'm just starting to repair the damage done to it through a
very bad blow out experience at a blow dry bar. Here I have the conditioning
masque in.

Although this is the color of the conditioning masque, I'm seriously thinking about
coloring my hair this color.
